ClubHam CW is the smartphone app for learning to receive Morse code with the Koch method. It is free, has no ads and, once paired with your account, works offline.

Lessons with the Koch method

There are 44 lessons — letters, numbers, punctuation and the prosigns AR, SK, KN and BK. Each lesson introduces a new character through memorizing, recognizing and testing; with 90% correct answers, the next lesson is unlocked. Learning is based on the sound of each character, without counting dits and dahs.

Practice, mnemonics and transmitting

Practice simulates receiving callsigns, contest exchanges and DX Cluster spots. In Mnemonics you write down how you hear each character, and in Transmit you train with an iambic keyer on the screen. Speed, tone and volume are set in the settings.

You install it from the browser, and pairing is under User area, Access: ClubHam CW.
