ClubHam Database — last updated on 09/07/2026.
These are the rules of use of ClubHam Database. They apply to the website, to the API and to the ClubHam Logger application. By creating an account, you accept what is written here.
In one line:
Your log is yours. Use the platform with good sense, do not get in other people's way and do not try to extract someone else's archive — the rest below is the detail of that.
The platform is open to radio amateurs, licensed or in training, and to whoever is interested in the activity. You must be at least 13 years old. Each person keeps one account, with truthful data — your name and your e-mail.
The password is yours and so is the responsibility for it. What happens in your account is treated as done by you, so keep the password and the applications' access codes with the same care you would give to the key of the station. If you suspect improper access, change the password, revoke the codes and tell the administration.
Callsigns do not serve as a user code: the callsign changes holder over time, and the user code identifies the person.
Your contacts, operations, cards, texts and images remain yours. You do not transfer their ownership to us.
You give us only the authorisation necessary to operate the service you asked for: to keep, process, back up and display that material to you and to whoever you choose — for instance, when posting on the wall or sharing a station. ⚠️ That authorisation ends when you delete the content or close the account, and does not extend to any other use.
⚠️ Before closing the account, export your log in ADIF or Cabrillo. The deletion is permanent and we have no way to undo it.
By sending anything, you state that you have the right to do so — that the photo is yours or you have authorisation, that the text is yours, that the log is of your operation. Third-party content without permission may not be posted here.
The platform is a place where operators meet. It is not allowed to:
ClubHam Social Media is the platform's meeting space — the feed, the posts, the questions, the comments and the gallery. It exists for amateur radio, and that is the criterion for everything published there.
Subjects of the activity and those related to it are welcome: operating and propagation, antennas and equipment, contests and expeditions, technique and experimentation, licensing and regulation, emergency and public service, radio history, meetings and associations.
Under no circumstances are the following admitted:
⚠️ The restriction on politics and religion is not a judgement about those subjects: it is what keeps the space usable by operators from all over the world, who meet here through radio and nothing else. The same goes for trading — even of a transceiver: a feed of advertisements stops being an amateur radio feed.
These situations are handled by moderation mechanisms. Content that does not comply may be removed, and repetition leads to suspension of the account, as set out in item 12.
It is forbidden to use robots, scrapers or any automated means to sweep the platform or copy the archive in bulk, without written authorisation.
⚠️ This does not affect normal use: ClubHam Logger, the API with your access code and the export of your own log are exactly for that and remain permitted.
The platform is for personal and non-commercial use in amateur radio activity. Reselling access, redistributing third-party data obtained here or exploiting the service commercially requires written authorisation.
The platform has open functions and member functions. The annual contribution sustains the service; the donation is voluntary.
The amounts, the terms and what each condition gives access to are those published in the financial area at the time of payment.
We do what we can to keep the service up and your data intact, with backups. Even so, the service is offered as it stands: there may be interruption, maintenance or failure, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or absence of errors.
⚠️ Keep your own copy of the log. Export in ADIF is always available, and no service on the Internet — this one included — replaces a backup that is yours. We are not liable for losses arising from unavailability or failure of the service.
Reference catalogues (DXCC entities, zones, IOTA, POTA, SOTA, WWFF, band plan) and lookups to external callsign services come from third-party sources. We reproduce what they report and we do not guarantee the accuracy of that content. If you find a discrepancy, tell the administration.
You may close your account whenever you wish. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, in particular in the cases of items 5 and 6.
⚠️ Except in urgent cases — risk to other users or to the service —, we warn and give an opportunity to put it right first. Termination without warning and without reason is not the practice of this platform.
The treatment of your data is described in the Privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
These terms may change. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date at the top, and a material change is announced on the platform — not merely swapped in silence.
Questions about these terms: contact the administration through the contact channels published on the platform.
This page is available without logging in, so that it can be read before any registration.
