Contests and DX

From preparation to results

ClubHam covers the whole operation: preparation, with the propagation forecast; operating, with ClubHam Logger and ClubHam DX Cluster; and recording the result, with the score, the certificate and the story of each contest or DX activity.

Propagation forecast

For the destinations you care about — DXCC entities or points marked on the map —, the platform calculates the openings on the HF bands from 10 to 80 meters, in half-hour steps, taking into account your station’s power and antennas. The result is a color matrix for planning a contest or the hunt for an entity (a ClubHam member feature).

Operating with ClubHam Logger

ClubHam Logger for Windows logs contacts as they happen, with radio control (CAT), CW message keys, dupe warnings, a band-by-band contest score and integration with digital-mode programs. It works offline and sends the contacts to your logbook.

ClubHam DX Cluster

Spots from the worldwide DX Cluster network and from the Reverse Beacon Network skimmers, in real time. Linked to your logbook, each spot is marked as a new entity, new band, new mode, needs confirmation or already confirmed (alerts for ClubHam members).

The record of each operation

In Operations you keep the category you entered, the statistics, the certificate with your placing, the story and the photos — and the operation can be published on the ClubHam social network.
